About us

Nikos Mermigas (1972-2018) the founder of the Nikos Trading Academy.

He worked as a musician and music teacher for over 15 years before trading became part of his live. The musician part was a bit tough and he wanted more time & money to enjoy real freedom. He jumped into trading without skills and knowledge and he lost all his savings with stocks in 1999 and later on with Forex as well. It took him over five years before he started growing his trading account. Since 2007 he was managing private client accounts and started coaching traders in now over 75 countries.
Witnessing his students achieving their goals in life boosts his own confidence on daily basis. He was also proud that he trained coaches here on “Nikos Trading Academy” personally. If you want more details about his journey as a trader, please download this little PDF file below.

Tomek Kowalski

Hello, my name is Tomek and I’m a full time trader now.

Before I decided to quit my job I was an IT guy. As IT manager I was installing software in Air Traffic Control Towers all around the world. Still during all this time I couldn’t get trading out of my head.
My Forex journey started in 2008. At the beginning I was just curios, but after some time I figured out that trading Forex became my passion. When I started I struggled a lot, and it was more or less break even at best for me. Luckily everything changed when I met Nikos. I became a successful trader after changing my mindset and learning how to think as a trader. He also gave me the opportunity to be part of the team here at “Nikos Trading Academy”. The really exciting thing about it is that I can do what I love – combining my passion and my IT skills. I also love traveling with my beautiful wife of course.
